Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 21, 2026
This policy explains what personal data ZucaPladur collects when you visit this website or fill in the contact form, what we use it for, and what your rights are.
Who is responsible for processing your data
ZucaPladur, based at Rua Dom Afonso Henriques, nº 117, 7350-191 Degolados, Portugal, is responsible for processing the personal data collected through this website. For any questions about this policy, you can contact us via WhatsApp or phone at 962 999 989.
What data we collect
When you fill in the quote request form, we collect your first name, last name, email, client type, type of work needed, project location and the message you leave us. If you choose to reach us on WhatsApp, your phone number and the content of that conversation are handled directly by the WhatsApp app (Meta Platforms, Inc.), under that platform's own privacy policy.
What we use your data for
We use the data you provide solely to respond to your quote request or enquiry, assess the project you describe, and communicate with you about it. We do not use your data for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
Legal basis
Processing your data is based on the consent you give when submitting the form or starting a conversation with us, and on our legitimate interest in responding to service-related enquiries.
Who we share data with
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes. Data submitted through the form is only accessible to our team. If you contact us via WhatsApp, that communication passes through Meta Platforms, Inc.'s servers, under that platform's terms. If you accept analytics cookies, data about your visit is also shared with Google (Google Analytics), as described in the Cookies section below.
How long we keep your data
We keep your data for as long as necessary to respond to your request, and for a maximum of 24 months after the last contact, unless the law requires a different period.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your data, to object to that processing, and to request data portability. You can exercise these rights by contacting us directly. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with Portugal's data protection authority (CNPD) or the competent authority in your own country.
Cookies
This website uses Google Analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site — for example, how many people visit, which pages they view and for how long. These cookies are only set after you give your explicit consent, via the banner shown at the bottom of the screen on your first visit. You can decline or change your choice at any time using the "Manage cookie preferences" button at the bottom of this page.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy whenever necessary. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
